Dr. Robert Proctor

My main area of interest is the formation and evolution of galaxies. The aim of my research is to characterise the ages and metals contents of galaxies in an attempt to shed light on their formation mechanisms. I regularly use data from large surveys such as the 6dF Galaxy Survey, as well data for globular clusters and individual galaxies from other sources including the Gemini and Keck telescopes.
